Mr. Ewers studied electrical engineering and his wide experience in representing clients in the area of telecommunications, computer hardware and software, wire and wireless networking, semiconductor devices and fabrication, Internet technologies, medical devices and analyzers, optical communication systems, display devices, consumer electronics, electric generators, automobile servo-assisted steering mechanisms, and mechanical arts.
Prior to launching his career as a patent attorney, Mr. Ewers worked as a systems planner at Bankgeselleschaft Berlin, Germany where he participated in design, installation and maintenance of a complex computer and telecommunications network. He also conducted legal research and drafted memoranda providing both technical and legal analysis of IT projects as a legal intern at PricewaterhouseCoopers Veltins Rechtsanwaltegesellschaft mbH.
